He has worked with Bo Diddly, Joe Cocker, Rodriguez and even Billy Ray Cyrus, He was brave enough to stand next to Shakin' Stephens in a urinal and nearly killed by Willie Nelson in Austin, Texas. He’s released fifteen albums of original music and written all about it in a rollicking biography “This Could Be Big - Forty Years at the dag end of the Australian Music Industry”. Don is also a luthier who makes the world renown Donmo Resonator guitars. More that 500 of these hand made, metal bodied instruments are being played around the world.

Dubbed the Larrikin Troubadour Laureate of Adelaide, he is playing, singing and writing songs better than ever. His songs tell our story with humour, irony and compassion. Don is entertaining story teller with a powerful stage presence.

Harry Coulsons Blue Dogs bring ability without the pretence and songs that explore the ebb and flow of suburban life, frustrated ambitions and the fierce drive to not back down. Best categorized by the various sound techs they have encountered over the years as “Pub Jazz and Bush Blues” If you wanted to.. You could compare them with something like Paul Kelly backed by Vulfpeck and The Clash.

That Changes

That Changes is a Melbourne-based artist duo of Kostas Veligos and Spiros Antoniades. They have been involved with various music bands and projects over the last 30 years. They came together last year to work on an audiovisual project called “9”, comprised of original music and video/photograph projections. Kostas has played bass and guitar in various bands in Greece. Upon moving to Melbourne he undertook formal music studies at the Melbourne Polytechnic. His most recent project was with a Melbourne band, Gale’s Edge. His other passion is exploring colour, people, and landscapes using photographic and video mediums. Spiros was the percussionist of Xylouris Ensemble, a prominent Melbourne band in the ’90s. After George Xylouris moved back to Greece, Spiros became involved with a number of bands performing live and creating film soundtracks (the most known being the multi-award-winning film “One Night the Moon”).

Singer-songwriter & composer Nir Tsfaty brings to the stage music from his broad creative work.
With his bands, Noria and Bell Always, he has released three studio albums and toured across
Israel, having played twice at InDNegev festival.


Now based in Melbourne, Nir plays solo shows regularly, composes for screen and produces for
local artists in his studio.


In 2021 Nir presented his work About Whales in collaboration with Invictus Quartet. Together they
have played two headline shows - at the Wesley Anne and Melbourne Recital Centre - both sold
out.


Nir’s solo sets are often minimalist and atmospheric, influenced mainly by British and French
alternative rock pop.

Hugh McGinlay

Hugh McGinlay is a singer songwriter and author based in Australia.

As a musician, he is known for his poetic lyrics and varied styles. A reputation that has increased with his long term collaboration with the Recessive Genes, made up of Adam Chiodo (Laughing Sam’s Dice), Phil Cadman (Fine Motor Skills, Desperately Not Yoko) and Ryan Vermeulen (Fine Motor Skills, Desperately Not Yoko).

Hugh has four albums out: Skeleton Leaves (2019 - with the Recessive Genes), Bliss (2015 - with the Recessive Genes) Elsewhere (2009) and Second Guess (2006) available on itunes (see link at the bottom of the page). Over the years he has toured extensively around the globe and has performed with the likes of Robyn Hitchcock, the Proclaimers, Billy Bragg and Badly Drawn Boy.

The single, I'll be fine was released by Hugh McGinlay and the Recessive Genes in October 2017.

As an author, Hugh is known for the novels Jinx and Pachyderm, the first two in a series about a hard living milliner called Catherine, who lives in Brunswick and solves crimes in her spare time. With

Pachyderm was long listed for the Ned Kelly awards 2018. Which in Australian crime fiction terms means he was nominated for an Oscar.

These books are currently out of print, as Threekookaburras Publishing house are no longer in business. Fear not folks, in August 2020 Hugh signed with Clan Destine Publishing house and both books, as well as a third novel Bodysurfing will be available in 2021.

Hugh is often erroneously credited with works of theology, which were written by his father, who was called Hugh McGinlay long before he was.

Hugh is the brother of Australian TV personality and comedian Danny McGinlay

Lee Jones is a British jazz-rock guitarist and composer, combining influences from modern jazz, fusion, blues, avant-garde and rock styles. Lee has regularly performed throughout the UK and worked alongside Larry Coryell, Martin Taylor and Dennis Rollins. Since graduating from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Jazz Course in 2007, he has released six solo albums with former WEA producer Simon Tittley and in 2019 completed a PhD in music composition at the University of Salford, Manchester. Lee is currently working in Australia as a jazz guitarist and educator/music researcher. Lee has a second eBook and a new solo album, scheduled for release in 2023.
