Tony J King

With a few stories, an old guitar and kick drum, Tony J King creates the music of a journeyman with roots in the street-corner blues and urban folk of yesteryear. With influences ranging from James Elroy, Edgar Allen Poe, Homer, Kerouak and Joseph Conrad, King's latest album delivers slow-burnin, low-fi urban myths, half-truths, dark gospel and random fascinations that are represented in quirky musical tales honed from a pre-occupation with the unusual, the exotic and the downright bizarre.

Sometimes sober listeners at venues and festivals (including Tanglewood, Matsumura, Renaissance, MONA, and MordiFest), have variously described his original compositions as bung blues, dirty swamp rock, and even psychedelic bluegrass.
Originally hailing from Hobart, KIER STEVENS is now a regular fixture on the Melbourne music scene writing and performing with several original music acts on dobro, guitar, and pedal steel.

David Cosma - Elvis Show

The Age described David Cosma as having the "full-bodied croon pairing the silken wryness of Elvis Costello and the gravel of Bob Dylan” while Street Press magazine wrote "a thinking person’s songwriter that speaks volumes to what a terrific talent we have in our midst”.
Inspiring lyrics accompanied by sumptuous melodies and harmonies, together with his unique method of playing the guitar (upside down aka south paw), guarantees an impassioned live performance. Sonically, his music is rich and luminous and boasts a world class production quality that is often overlooked in the world of independent artists, but it is lyrically where Cosma stands apart, with a knack for examining commonplace and even trite circumstance and then magnifies their significance with a wry and at times ironic tone. Religion, pop culture and nostalgic nuances, punctuate and ultimately, accentuate his writing, triggering instant attention from audience and listeners.
David has toured with, supported and performed alongside artists including Mark Seymour, Brian Cadd & Russell Morris, Pete Murray and Jeff Martin to name some.
He has also co-written and fronted the critically acclaimed theatre show "Sun Rising- The Songs That Made Memphis" for over a decade.

Stephen Grady, born in PNG is the “son of a preacher man” who began his musical journey learning hymns on the piano and bass. A transformative gift—a nylon guitar from a rebellious aunt timed with watching the Crowded House farewell concert on TV—ignited his passion for connection through song.

From the early days of his career, he immersed himself in the Australian music scene, collaborating with luminaries like Kasey Chambers and Shane Nicholson. Influenced by icons from Bob Dylan and Neil Young through to contemporaries like Ray LaMontagne, Ryan Adams, and Bonny Light Horseman, his songwriting prowess has earned accolades, including an APRA award and nominations in the International Songwriting Competition.

Steve also formed The Ahern Brothers, whose debut album received critical acclaim with a 4-star review in Rolling Stone. Additionally, his extensive touring—both nationally and internationally—alongside artists such as Tex Perkins and Cold Chisel’s Don Walker has showcased Steve’s rich blend of folk, Americana, and indie sound.

With multiple albums and an experienced music producer, Stephen infuses each note with authenticity and emotion, leaving a lasting impact that resonates deeply with listeners.

No drum machines, no samples, no synth, no loop stations… no bullshit.

Harry Coulsons Blue Dogs bring ability without the pretence and songs that explore the ebb and flow of suburban life, frustrated ambitions and the fierce drive to not back down. Best categorized by the various sound techs they have encountered over the years as “Pub Jazz and Bush Blues” If you wanted to.. You could compare them with something like Paul Kelly backed by Vulfpeck and The Clash.
